Welcome to The Center for Pediatric Psychology

Where we build skills that empower parents and caregivers to confidently manage their children’s behaviors and big emotions

The Center for Pediatric Psychology is a practice uniquely focused on treating young children (ages 0-10 years). We use evidence-based treatments, meaning our strategies are consistent with the most up to date research, and, more importantly, they work! ). Because we treat young children, we focus on a parent coaching approach to therapy and include children in sessions through developmentally appropriate play and engagement. Additionally, we recognize that children are part of their larger family systems, communities, and cultures. As such, families have the option for their psychologist to consult with schools, extended family/additional caregivers, pediatricians, and other medical specialists/therapists in the treatment process.

We understand that when your child is struggling, it can impact the whole family. The Center for Pediatric Psychology offers a warm, supportive, judgment-free environment where we will teach you effective strategies to:

  • prevent your child’s difficult behaviors

  • effectively respond to big emotions in the moment

  • strengthen your connection with your child, and

  • improve the quality of life for your whole family.
